The truth? In most cases, you can't have what you want. That's just the way things unfold. Maybe that's the reason for the huge success in the movie business. We can go and watch someone else live in a perfect world, with perks to every downfall and greener grass with every step. We can see ourselves living through our favorite stars, if only for the temporary joy we think we feel. The guy gets the girl, the hero saves the world. Predetermined. Fake. It all ends with reality. Back to work. Back to one-way love and distant dreams.
You can't have what you want. Like candy taken from a child, your perfect plans will be ripped from your hands and lost in the wind. Sure, you can drown it out with momentary bliss. Pour yourself another glass. Hide. You will be found.
What i learned on April Seventh. Settle for the second best, its the best you're gonna get.
